Through Space and Time

A group exhibition by the artists of Arts Access Victoria's Future Reset - Maker Space program

Collage of outer space, with swirls of bright colours as the sky on a black background. There are planets made from the swirls, and two with lines growing outwards like they are expanding. Two are made from googly eyes, one with rings around it to look like Saturn. In the bottom corner, there's a text that reads 'a universe supercomputer'. In the top middle part, another text reads 'retraced through giant darkness'.

Ash Hem, I See the Universe, Collage, 2023.

Through Space and Time is a group exhibition by the artists of Arts Access Victoria’s Future Reset – Maker Space program.

This exhibition explores visual observations, connections, imaginings and Disability pride.

Created by and for young Deaf and Disabled artists, Future Reset – Maker Space is a free and accessible alternative to art school. It is a safe space for people to make art and meet new friends.

In 2024, the program covered illustration, painting, printmaking, photography and digital arts.

This is the artists’ first group exhibition as a collective. Presented in celebration of Arts Access Victoria’s 50th anniversary.

The exhibition launch is on Thursday 31 October, 6 pm – 7:30pm. The exhibition launch is Auslan-interpreted.

Future Reset – Maker Space is in partnership with Arts Centre Melbourne and City of Melbourne’s SIGNAL program and supported by the Victorian Government through Engage! and VicHealth.
