Check out live punk, experimental, alternative pop and indie music acts performed by Deaf and Disabled musicians/bands and musicians/ bands with lived experience of mental health.
This is a drug, smoke and alcohol-free event for all ages.
At the heart of Snug Rock is social connection, community, access and music.
Snug Rock aims to break down the barriers that can come with going to live music. We are creating a safe space for everyone to connect over their love of music and live performance.
If you do not want to give out your personal information you can contact us and we make a booking on humanitix with just a first name and an email to an AAV staff to be able to send you a ticket. we will not keep the email address.
Booking is not required but preferred.
If you do not book, we cannot promise you entry on the day if we are sold out.
You will still need to register some details on the day if you do not have a ticket.

What to Expect
This is a relaxed festival with no flashing lights.
The festival will be live streamed with captions and Auslan.
The venue is accessible.
There will be quiet rooms.
We will have support staff available on the day and beforehand to ensure everyone can attend.
We will have a set drop-off and pick-up point with AAV staff at the beginning and the end of Snug Rock to help everyone find us.
Before Snug Rock we will be hosting small get-togethers to give everyone a chance to mingle and connect. This will give you time to get to know the space and people attending.
We will have small talk question cards and use the social connection system to help everyone feel safe and assert their boundaries.
When bands are not playing on the day we will be playing a Spotify playlist and would love for you to contribute some of your favourite tunes.
All people 12 or under must be accompanied by an adult
Harassment will not be tolerated
You are not allowed to bring in alcohol or other illicit substances

Anyone who has been drinking or using drugs on the day will not be allowed to enter the event space.
There are no pass-outs – Once you have entered Snug Rock you will not be able to leave Collingwood yards and come back to Snug Rock. We will be providing free food thought out the day.
Food and Drink
We will be providing free catering during the dinner break.
There will be free water and soft drink for everyone at the bar.
