A first of its kind, Nebula is a purpose-built, portable arts space that enables artists with a disability to create and show their work in a space designed for them. The idea was germinated by Art Day South’s artists who developed the concept and initial drawings for architect Andrew Maynard and engineer Michael Whytlaw.
Nebula was launched in conjunction with ACMI’s William Kentridge exhibition in March 2012 with a week of art making workshops and public tours of the new space.
