Front Up is a drawing project to be presented on the windows of Arts Access Victoria in South Melbourne. The project involves drawing portraits of Deaf and Disabled artists who live and/or work in the City of Port Phillip. The project aims to represent and empower Deaf and Disabled artists through the creative process of portrait drawings.
The half-hour portrait sitting will be a conversation with my artist peers as a point of connection of shared experiences and creating meaning through the process of drawing portraits. The completed A3 drawings will be enlarged and adhered to the exterior windows of Arts Access Victoria.
