Being Enough Residency 2019

The ‘Being Enough’ residency will welcome up to 10 intersectional artists from across Australia for a ground-breaking creative exploration, to come together and explore what it is to share space and shed shame. What does that take? How do we carry shame with us? How do we shake it out? What words and movements can we find and make and re-imagine together, so that we can live and love and work and die, together, differently?

The residency will be led by our CEO, Caroline Bowditch, and Scottish-based artist Luke Pell. As long term colleagues, collaborators, artists and Agents for Change Luke and Caroline will come together to host a space for folks who are living, loving, working, wrestling with, in and on, the intersections of identity politics. We will do this through an exploration of movement, performance, disability, choreography, queerness and quiet activism.
