Get Out! is an inclusive arts studio, designed to support creative expression, artistic development, and public engagement.

Get Out! Artists focus on visual and performing arts. They work towards group exhibitions and outcomes across the Metropolitan and South-Eastern Suburbs.
Get Out! runs fortnightly on Saturdays. Get Out! follows the Victorian school term timetable. This means it runs for 4 terms a year. Each term is roughly five fortnights.
Each session is six hours long. This includes regular breaks and a one-hour lunch. We encourage you to stay for the full session. You can take as many breaks as you need.
Get Out! is a predominantly visual and performing arts studio. Artists practices include painting, sculpture, textile, dance, and experimental performance. Artists may work as a group or independently to create artworks and contribute to projects.
We provide basic art supplies and additional materials and tools can be provided to fulfil the needs and interests of the artists. You are welcome to bring additional materials if you would like Materials we supply include:
One of the best parts of Get Out! are the facilitating artists and arts support workers. They are all established artists with many years of experience. They will be able to:
The studio is a social art-making environment where artists work towards public outcomes. Studio artists work closely with professional artists to explore and develop their personal artistic language. Artists also get to visit galleries, meet and network with professionals and be a part of the greater Arts Access community.

Get Out! is based at the Frankston North Community Centre.
The venue is fully accessible and has lots of space and includes a stage and small kitchenette.

The studio space is fully accessible with ramp access and an accessible bathroom. The materials and tools provided are tailored to the needs of the artists, with the ability to modify or acquire additional equipment when needed. Staff are professional artists and trained support workers. We will work with you to make sure your access needs are covered.
Get Out! first started in 2003 and has been a prominent disability arts studio in the South-Eastern Suburbs ever since. The studio and its artists have exhibited and performed many comical and colourful outcomes over the years. These include; ‘Art is…’ (2019) an open studio at Frankston Arts Centre’s Cube 37, ‘Fantastic, Yes’ (2021) exhibition at Walker St Gallery and ‘Pavlova, in Your Dreams Mum!’ (2022) a performance held at Arts Centre Melbourne apart of Alter State Festival. Get Out! is a fun, social and humorous studio, continuing to make and present outcomes as a group.
