Fridays at the Collective

Every Friday afternoon we will host discussions and events focusing on the past, present, and future of AAV and arts and disability.

Celebrating 50 years of Arts Access Victoria (AAV)

For 50 years, AAV has championed disability justice and the human rights of Deaf and Disabled people through art.

The Collective digs deep into the AAV archive, highlighting projects across the decades. Witness the huge social shift from incarceration to liberation, across 50 years of practice. Discover works that are bold, uncompromising, authentic, and proud.

The exhibition includes artworks by Deaf and Disabled artists working today that respond to the archives. You can check out some of our archives right now!

Join us throughout July for a journey through our past and present.

The Future

Join us with a panel of young Deaf and Disabled creatives from AAV’s Youth Advisory Committee.  After the panel you can plot and scheme for the future.
