WHAT IS THE OTHER FILM FESTIVAL?
Launched in 2004, The Other Film Festival is Australia’s only disability film festival screening new cinema by, with and about people with disabilities. The Other Film Festival will burst onto the screen in August 2010 with an outstanding program of Australian and international films. The festival offers something for everyone with a full program of authentic and compelling films that explores the diverse experiences of disability, mental illness and Deafness.

MORE THAN JUST FILMS
The festival promises access to the cinema experience for everyone. All films are Captioned and Audio Described and all events are Sign Interpreted in Auslan. So everyone can enjoy the films, and take part in forums and Q&As with directors, actors and international guests. And if partying is your thing, you won’t want to miss The Other Club late into the night.

The Festival will also be inaugurating a Deaf program of cutting-edge cinema and events, including a Directors working with Deaf Actors Forum/ Workshop with ‘Kenny’ director Clayton Jacobson.

Please note: Forums are shown in Blue
