The Fluid Ink Project is the culmination of artwork created by ‘Artstop 21’ – a collective of twenty local emerging artists from Brunswick, including residents of Stewart Lodge Supported Residential Service and visitors to The Olive Way Drop In Centre. The body of artwork is vivid and dreamlike, conveying over twenty intimate, powerful narratives as told through sculpture, mixed media, stop-motion animation and sound installation. The Fluid Ink Project is curated by acclaimed local visual artist Elyss McCleary and award winning sculpture artist Aliey Ball. Collaborating artists include sound artist Claire Deak, media artist Leonie Van Eyk and animator Bernadette Trench-Thiedeman. Artstop 21 is produced by Arts Access Victoria, and proudly supported by The Olive Way, Metlink, Health and Community Care, Department of Health and Brunswick Arts Space.

Touted as a hidden gem of the 2010 Melbourne Fringe Festival, Woodvale South was a must-see performance for anyone who wanting to be challenged by preconceptions of what artists with disabilities are capable of. Hand-picked for the Fringe Festival Hub program at the North Melbourne Town Hall, Woodvale South involved the construction of an enormous city from discarded wooden debris and found objects.
Strange Fruit & Deaf Arts Network

Strange Fruit and Deaf Arts Network presented 'The Atrium' in October 2010. 161 Collins Street hosted this unique collaboration between Strange Fruit and Deaf Arts Network. The workshops signalled the beginning of a new artistic relationship as deaf performers from Deaf Arts Network were trained to perform atop Strange Fruit’s five-metre high flexible poles.

By every measure, the 2010 Festival has been a formidable success. The Festival generated extraordinary local, national and international coverage by commercial, public and community broadcast and print and web exposure. Audience attendance increased significantly and the feedback from patrons regarding programming quality and accessibility has been overwhelmingly positive. It seems as if this Festival, which has been quietly gathering speed since 2004, has now become airborne.
