Through Deaf Eyes … a highlight of the 2012 Melbourne Writers Festival

Through Deaf Eyes was presented to two sellout audiences at the 2012 Melbourne Writers Festival. The project was an initiative of Arts Access Victoria and the Deaf Arts Network with support from The City of Melbourne. Five Deaf writers presented their work in Auslan to a captivated audience, who were given a snap shot of life and stories through deaf eyes. From reflections on childhood to travelling … the humanity exposed and the pathos inspired was second to none. In short Through Deaf Eyes was an outstanding success.
