Rick Randall

Position: Artistic Director, The Other Film Festival

Rick Randall is the Artistic Director of The Other Film Festival. Presented by Arts Access Victoria, this festival screens contemporary international cinema concerning the experience of disability and provides exemplary levels of access for all patrons.

Rick is also a prolific documentary director and community filmmaker with extensive experience in all aspects of contemporary video production. He has worked with urban and rural young people, residents of public housing, unemployed young people, people with physical, intellectual and psychological disabilities, people in custodial settings, people of indigenous descent and people from CALD communities.

In addition to directing award-winning dramas and documentaries for television and theatrical release, Rick creates innovative projection installations for performances, events and festivals. Rick regularly presents at national and international conferences on the themes of disability, cinema, access, arts and inclusion.
