Plausible Appearance

This experimental creative development will see three artists Young Philly, L Fresh the Lion and Neda collaborate to creatively reflect on themes of peace, harmony and reconciliation and to celebrate 10 years of Black Harmony, from past to present. The showing will include an exhibition of hand written letters exchanged between the artists and some of the many Indigenous elders who have contributed to Black Harmony over the years. The artists will use these hand written letters to inspire new live performance which encompasses voice, spoken word, drums, songs and sound system explorations.

Power Letters Project is the first installation of MAV’s Producer in Residency at 1000 £ Bend (The Hub Project Arts Hub), Plausible Appearance. Plausible Appearance creates a new space for cross cultural contemporary arts practice that challenges notions of diversity and enables different ways of thinking about contemporary society and the future of Australia.
