Black Harmony Gathering

Be part of this Koorie and multicultural celebration in the beautiful bush setting beside the Yarra River at Fairfield. The afternoon concert includes some of the best known Indigenous artists, alongside members of the next generation, as well as artists from many other cultures who have arrived more recently on our
shores.
There will be a wide range of entertainment – music, dance, circus arts and capoeira, traditional and contemporary, vocal and instrumental.

Featuring: Kutcha Edwards and his new 6 piece band, Skin Choir, Koorie Youth Will Shake Spears, Unwritten History, Koorie Tiddas, M.Wol, Sinit Tsegaye, L Fresh the Lion, Dalouna Middle Eastern Dance Troupe, Teame the Contortionist, Afrovival & more. Hand crafts from a range of cultures including the Pacific, Papua New Guinea and Burundi will be available to buy and demonstrated in workshops for you to try your hand at.

Having catered to your soul we now turn to your taste buds with a choice of tasty foods from the Koorie BBQ, treats from Ethiopia, ice cream & coffee to complete the menu…or bring a picnic. Friendly dogs on leads are welcome.

This is an alcohol free event, bring a cushion, no glass please and wear a sun hat and sunscreen.
