Write-ability: a Mentor-in-Residence pilot project for writers with a disability

Location: Writers Victoria at the Wheeler Centre for Books, Writing, and Ideas

Arts Access Victoria, in partnership with Writers Victoria, is pleased to announce the launch of Write-ability, a new pilot project to support writers with a disability wishing to advance their writing practice. The Write-ability pilot project will be led by an established writer working one day per week at Writers Victoria in Melbourne’s Wheeler Centre for Books, Writing and Ideas at the State Library of Victoria.

Arts Access Victoria is calling for Expressions of Interest from established writers for the position of Mentor-In-Residence to lead this project.  As the state’s leading arts and disability organisation, Arts Access Victoria is committed to increasing opportunities for Victorian artists and arts workers with a disability. Accordingly, we actively encourage writers with a disability to submit an Expression of Interest for this position.
