The Red Balloon

“If the world is going to be full of catastrophes I want to escape in a big balloon until it is all over.”

This was to become the beginning of a year long journey undertaken by 4 individuals living with a disability who through the ArtStable project interpreted stories of survival, used physical theatre, improvisation, spliced and explored texts, imagery and puppetry play to produce a layered piece of theatre that is challenging, highly visual and confronting.
This is the first showing of 15 mins (low or no tech). We encourage all to come along and support the cast, offer feedback and to discuss the production/ project with the theatremakers and Rah Rah.
