The Melbourne International Film Festival

Access: Access varies in quality at the various venues used for MIFF. Though designated to have wheelchair access it may not be of the highest standard. You may wish to enquire if you don’t know the venue already. There is access information on the MIFF website about wheelchair access and hearing loops.

Deaf access: There will be one open captioned film with an accompanying lecture afterwards. The lecture will be Auslan interpreted. The film is called ‘Swerve’ and will be screened at the Cinema Nova on August 5. Three  ‘In conversation’ sessions will be Auslan interpreted – go to miff.com.au/talking_pictures for more information.
