HELP IMPROVE THE WAY PEOPLE WITH A DISABILITY ARE PORTRAYED

The Office for Disability wants to add new photographs to their image library. They are seeking people of different ages and backgrounds with a range of disabilities who are happy to be photographed alone or with friends, family members or colleagues – whatever feels natural and comfortable.

Martie Lowenstein

I am a singer and a qualified Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in running activity groups, especially fun groups with a theraputic purpose. I currently run two successful Singing for Fun groups on the Mornington Peninsula. I enjoy working with people in a relaxed fun group which also increases musical skills. I enjoy a very wide range of repertiore from folk and world music, popular songs and classical choral works.

I have also completed Community Music Vic training as a singing leader and have sung in a variety of Melbourne choirs for over 20 years, learning from the many conducting styles I have experienced.
