Francesca Martinez in What the **** is Normal? is at the Upstairs Lounge, Hairy Little Sista, until April 24.

It’s not every day you see someone with cerebral palsy doing stand-up comedy; even if they do it sitting down. UK’s Francesca Martinez, who prefers to refer to herself as a  “wobbly” artist, has created an entire show around disability.

This is a show to make you laugh, and go home feeling better about being alive and about all those bits you’ve never liked about yourself. After all, what’s so great about being ‘normal’ anyway?
