ablephoto/ Photographic Competition 2011

Entry Information
The inaugural ablephoto competition is now open to photographers with deafblindness. Listed below are the competition guidelines and dates of the ablephoto exhibition at Federation Square, Victoria in June 2011.
Only people with deafblindness are eligible to enter this competition.

Each state will have a nominated ablephoto representative as a support to those who wish to enter the competition. Their names will be listed on the Able Australia website.
If you are unsure of anything regarding the ablephoto competition, please contact your Case Manager or the ablephoto representative in your state.
Cameras will be available to borrow through Able Australia for those who do not have access to a camera but would like to enter. Please contact your Case Manager, Able Australia or your state nominated ablephoto representative to make these arrangements.
All photographs must be registered with Able Australia. Entries can be emailed (in j.peg format – but not to exceed 10MB) to ableart@ableaustralia.org.au OR delivered or posted to Able Australia, 616 Riversdale Road, Camberwell Vic 3124 to be judged and prepared for exhibition.

Photographs will be judged by an independent panel of photographic industry judges. The panel’s decision is final.
Photographs will be shown at an exhibition after judging is completed. The exhibition will be in the BMW Edge foyer, Federation Square from Friday, 24 June to Sunday, 26 June 2011.
Prizes will be awarded and announced at the ablephoto exhibition.
All entries MUST be received & registered with Able Australia by Friday 27 May 2011.
