1. New accessible cinemas using the closed caption CaptiView system:

• Hoyts Cinemas, Broadway, Sydney, NSW
• Reading Cinemas, Charlestown, Newcastle, NSW
If you are in the area, we encourage you to try out the new CaptiView system at any of the cinemas listed above and then provide your feedback through the dedicated email address we have set up at accessible.cinema@fahcsia.gov.au or simply leave a comment below on this webpage.
2. Accessible cinemas offering Open Captioning and Audio Description 6 sessions* per week:
• Event Cinemas, Parramatta, Sydney, NSW
• Hoyts Cinemas, Belconnen, Canberra, ACT
• Hoyts Cinemas, Erina, NSW
• Hoyts Cinemas, Carousel, Perth, WA
• Hoyts Cinemas, Tweed Heads, QLD
Numbers of head sets available at these five locations will be advised on local cinema websites. Information can also be obtained from: www.yourlocalcinema.com.au
3. Accessible cinemas offering Open Captioning only (ie. no Audio Description at this stage) 6 sessions* per week:
