Andrew Follows
Andrew Follows is an inspiring photographer with a social conscience, who is fast becoming established within the arts community. Andrew has an eye condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a condition which has rendered one eye completely blind with ever diminishing tunnel vision in the other.
The key to the world around Andrew is through his camera. The lens becomes his eyes, the shutter his very existence, the computer his medium of vision enabling him for the first time to ‘see’ the world more clearly. Andrew along with his Guide Dog Eamon, conducts photography workshops with a difference. His workshops allow people into the world of no sight, and show how you can overcome disability to become a photographer. His workshops are interactive and demonstrate how other senses can be used when you are unable to see – to think like a photographer with no vision. His Digital Photography Workshops are tailored for people of all abilities. His workshops are fun, inspirational and empowering! In the last two years Andrew has exhibited his work in numerous galleries and is looking forward to expanding his market internationally. His photographs are professional and inspiring.
Come follow Andrew and Eamon in his emotional journey that he lives in everyday, as he explores his challenges in photography and the world in the visual medium.
Andrew shows the world to us from a new perspective. It’s visually exciting, innovative and accessible!
