Woodvale South by Art Day South

We are thrilled to announce that Woodvale South presented by Art Day South at the 2010 Melbourne Fringe Festival, has won the ‘Best Live Art’ Award, announced at the Fringe Closing Night Awards last Saturday!

Hand picked for this year’s Fringe Festival Hub program at the North Melbourne Town Hall, Woodvale South involved the construction of an enormous city from discarded wooden debris and found objects by the Art Day South collective of artists with a disability.

Art Day South, based deep in suburban Melbourne’s Dingley Village, is a cross-disciplinary contemporary arts project committed to providing a place for artists with disabilities to explore, develop and produce new work. Art Day South is coordinated by Arts Access Victoria
