Getting there:
If you are driving to the venue the Arts Centre car park is a short walk from the Bowl with entry from the rear off Sturt or Kavanagh Streets. Otherwise it is a short walk from Flinders Street Station or a tram ride up St Kilda Road.

Fortyfivedownstairs
fortyfivedownstairs has disabled access to the theatre only. The back of our building is at Flinders Street level, however the gallery has a set of stairs coming from both directions.
If you wish to attend a play or event in the fortyfivedownstairs theatre and require ground level access please don’t hesitate to contact us. Access is from Spark Lane, which is a small lane running off Flinders Street, between Spring and Exhibition. We need to know 24 hours before the event in question, or by 5pm on Friday if it is a weekend event. We will then provide you with detailed instructions including the stage or venue manager’s phone number.

ACCESSIBLE INFORMATION
The Flinders Street entrance has one small step up to a line of double doors. A ramp is positioned here during performances. The entrance opens on to the foyer. The Box Office is situated to the right of the entrance doors. Two large railed staircases line the walls and lead to an upstairs foyer containing a bar and refreshment area.
Forum I: MAIN AUDITORIUM
Enquiries regarding wheelchair access should be directed to the Princess Theatre Box Office (03) 9299 9800.
Forum II: Upstairs Auditorium
Alternative access is via the side entrance in Russell Street. Again, there is a large staircase. The Auditorium is quite steeply raked and has no handrails.
TOILETS
General
Toilets are situated at the rear of the Forum I, near the Russell Street exit, and also in the upstairs foyer next to the bar.
Accessible
A unisex accessible toilet is situated at the rear of Forum I, near the Russell Street exit.
