Brunswick Neighbourhood House
Brunswick Neighbourhood House is a place where people come together to meet other people and share or gain skills, knowledge and support. It is open to people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
The house is managed by and for the community through an elected Committee of Management.
Volunteers are welcomed and valued at the Brunswick Neighbourhood House.
SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMS
Art classes offered for moderately disabled adults and teenagers covering: mixed media, cooking, pottery, creative movement and more.
ACCREDITED PROGRAMS
Brunswick Neighbourhood House is a registered training organisation and meets the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework. Qualifications in English and Computers are issued under the Victorian Qualifications Authority and are nationally recognised with the Australian Qualifications Framework.
All accredited training courses are funded by Adult Community & Further Education.

Oasis Program, Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre
Oasis is a ‘place to go’ and provides an extensive educational, recreational and peer support program.
You can join activities or come and potter in the garden, feed the chooks, play the guitar, have a coffee in the kitchen, chat to friends.
Who comes to Oasis?
People isolated at home and on a low income; people on a disability support pension; consumers of mental health services; and adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
How much does it cost?
There is no charge. Oasis is funded by the Australian and Victorian Governments.

Access for All Abilities is funded by Sport and Recreation Victoria through the Department of Planning and Community Development. The program aims to promote positive community values, by providing opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sport and recreation activities.
A dedicated Access for All Abilities Coordinator is located within each local Government area (LGA) of Victoria. Each AAA program works with a variety of community and sports organisations. YMCA Victoria delivers the program in the:
- City of Melbourne
- City of Wyndham
- Shire of Yarra Ranges
Your local AAA provider works with local sport and recreation clubs and associations, state sporting associations, recreation and leisure facilities, and individuals and families to provide support and information.

MOIRA Disability Respite Co-ordination Program
The MOIRA Disability Respite Co-ordination Program provides a central point of contact for carers of children or adults with a disability. This service provides information about the range of respite services and related options in the Southern Region, and is able to co-ordinate appropriate referrals/responses.

Access All Abilities, City of Casey
The Access for All Abilities (AAA) Program is an initiative of the Department of Planning and Community Development, (formerly Department for Victorian Communities) – Sport and Recreation Victoria. The Casey AAA program is located within the City of Casey Council.
The AAA Program develops and supports a diverse range of sport and recreation environments that are inclusive and accessible to people with a disability.

Joint Councils Access for All Abilities (JCAAA)
JCAAA is a service of the Cities of Bayside, Glen Eira, Port Phillip and Stonnington. JCAAA supports community based sport and recreation providers to be inclusive of, and accessible to, people with disabilities.
