ArtsLab – new workshops at Footscray Community Arts Centre

ArtsLab is a program of casual workshops, held each Saturday at Footscray Community Arts Centre, for artists with a disability, who wish to develop their emerging arts practice in a supportive and relaxed environment.

The Saturday ArtsLab workshops offer emerging artists in the West the opportunity to practice multiple art forms and to work with professional artists in a studio environment.

ArtsLab is currently offering the following workshops:

Digital Photography – Learn how to display, print, store, manipulate, transmit and archive images.
Tutor: Alister Karl
Saturdays: 1pm – 3.30pm
Term 1: 6 February – 27 March (8 sessions)
Term 2: 24 April – 12 June (8 sessions)

Digital Storytelling – Learn how to record your own personal story or tale by using computers, cameras, photos and scanners. Learn basic photo manipulation, film editing and music technology to create your digital story.
Tutor: Lindsay Cox
Saturdays: 1pm– 3.30pm
Term 1: 6 February – 27 March (8 Sessions)
Term 2: 24 April – 12 June
